In the second quarter of 2023, Australia’s top five virtual fitness programs on the iOS platform exhibited diverse performance metrics. Data from Sensor Tower reveals the trends in downloads, revenue, and weekly active users for these apps.

Push For Better saw a significant spike in downloads, peaking at 40K in the week of May 29. However, this surge was followed by a sharp decline, ending the quarter with just 172 downloads in the final week of June. Despite the high download numbers, the app did not generate any revenue during this period.

AllTrails: Hike, Bike & Run experienced consistent revenue growth, starting at approximately $16.6K in late March and peaking at around $27.6K by mid-April. The weekly downloads fluctuated, culminating in a high of 8.3K at the end of June. Active user numbers also increased steadily, reaching over 22K by the quarter's end.

Strava: Run, Bike, Hike maintained strong revenue throughout the quarter, ranging between $54.6K and $64.7K. Downloads remained relatively stable, with a slight increase to 5.6K in mid-June. The app's active user base was robust, peaking at 146K in mid-June before ending the quarter with 145K users.

PhysiApp did not generate revenue but saw a slight fluctuation in downloads, averaging around 4K to 5K weekly. The app maintained a steady active user base, fluctuating between 24K and 26K throughout the quarter.

Qantas Wellbeing also did not generate revenue but showed consistent download numbers, hovering around 3K to 4K weekly. The app's active user base grew steadily, reaching approximately 224K by the end of June.
